Book Hive bookstore is based in the center of Chortiatis, Thessaloniki, just before the city’s mountain refuge, in an environment of idyllic beauty, absolute peace, and tranquility.

It originally found the fertile ground to be “born” and grow online during the lockdown. In that unique period, just as nature was left to bloom, readers were offered the opportunity and time to explore a new destination for spiritual escape and evolution, beyond the fast-paced rhythms of daily life.

The creators of Book Hive are Maria and Stella, two friends from Thessaloniki. Their love for stories that endure and follow us long after the last page is turned became the inspiration for both the bookstore itself and its name.

Here, the book finds its natural home, an open “hive” of knowledge where everything works together in harmony: literature, science, and contemporary publications. Just as bees collect nectar, we have carefully gathered for you selected works full of words, ideas, and emotions, whose value is truly worth tasting!
