The first Panhellenic titles of the new year were won by Angelos P. and Bakou P. at the Panhellenic Individual Championships for Youth and Youth Women up to 18 years old 2025 which concluded on Wednesday 8/1/2025 at the hotel Porto Palace hotel Thessaloniki.

Στο 28th Panhellenic Individual Youth Championship 2025 in positions 1-2 they tied for Dimitris P. and Anastasios B. who collected 7 points in 9 matches. After the tie was broken, Dimitris P. was declared the champion of Greece. The bronze medal was won by Michael K. with 6.5 points. In the championship 41 male and 1 female chess player participated from 25 clubs

Στο 27th Panhellenic Individual Junior Championship 2025 finished in 1st place Dimitra A. with 5.5 points in 7 matches and was crowned Greek Champion. In 2nd-3rd place were tied with Despoina K. and Myrsini Maria D. with 5 points. After the tie was broken, the silver medal was won by Despina Kalliora and the bronze by Myrsini Maria Dalla. 13 chess players participated in the tournament from 10 clubs

The co-organizers of the tournament were the clubs Chess Academy of Thessaloniki "White Horse", Cultural and Chess Club of Toumba "Grand Master" and the Chess Academy of Kavala with the support of Union of Chess Clubs of Thessaloniki - Halkidiki (U.S.S.Th-C.).
