Cosmopolis Festival

With the large participation of residents and visitors of Kavala increasing the reputation of the Cosmopolis Festival, the people who believe in this event decided this year to present a program that covers all five basic senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch. Cosmopolis Festival 2026  will take place on January 31 and will meet with the public on the Panagia peninsula, in neighborhoods and villages of Kavala, as well as at the “Anthi Karagianni” National Stadium. Three sections, three different worlds: CosmoWorld, CosmoHome, live at the “Anthi Karagianni” Stadium. A timeless point of coexistence of peoples and cultures, Kavala presents its hospitable side.

Acclaimed musicians from Greece, Serbia, Belgium, Spain, the USA, the Netherlands, Cuba, Argentina and Venezuela will take to the stage of Mohamed Ali Square, at the top of the old town of Kavala, which will be the epicenter of the festival's activities. Cosmopolis Festival 2026.

The festival kicks off on Saturday 31/1/2026 with Socrates Malamas arriving on stage at this year's Cosmopolis Festival for a concert filled with the favorites that the groups want. With him on the song Ioulia Karapataki and his band constantly by his side. With Yannis Papatriantafyllou on double bass, Kyriakos Tapakis on lute and bouzouki, Spyros Vryonis on electric guitar, Kalogiannis Veranis on violin, trumpet and vocals, Nikos Magnisalis on drums, Yannis Malamas on percussion and vocals.
