The route starts from the central square of the village and follows the path of the ancient \u201droyal road\u201d that connected Kardamili with Sparta. The route takes place within a path tucked into olive trees, pines and cypresses. Byzantine churches, stone towers, old fountains, olive mills and flour mills reveal the life of the locals in the past. Reaching the end, Taygetus proudly stands up with its imposing peaks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meeting time:<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>9: 00 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meeting point: Kardamyli's central square<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Duration: 3 hours with small breaks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Difficulty level: easy with some rough
